OK, so a little glitz is definatly needed these days to separate yourself from thousands of other craft beer makers out there. But seriously? Going back to a flat top can? Is that the answer?

I’m not convinced despite the technology pundit and start-up investment community getting on board.

I m proud to say I count Jeff as a personal friend of mine. Despite him being a life long Mets fan he is a hell of a home brewer, who actually helped me along in my home brewing adventures by gifting me a bunch of equipment and advice after I struggled with my own starter kit.

Amazon Launches Comedy, Kids' Web-Video Production:

First it was Netflix dipping it’s toes into new content creation, now Amazon is following suit with it’s own sitcoms and children’s shows.

I think this is great… the more competition these upstart media companies can give Hollywood the better it will be for the consumer.

But personally, I think the best thing Amazon can do to improve the use of it’s online video library, is to fix the interface on all the third party devices.

I use Amazon instant video on my Roku, which is the device Amazon recommends for viewing their content on the big screen. But the interface is atrocious. It’s near impossible to browse the service.

Seriously before you spend $10,000 to option a script, spend half of that on and interface designer please. Else we won’t be able to find your new shows anyway.

htmh s4e02 seeding the Pyramid Apricot Wheat

This week Keith and Rob are back and starting off a series on Pyramid brews from the Great North West. We try Pyramid’s Apricot Wheat which scores a very high 8/10.

Then we continue with our Ultimate Hero Brackets game that we announced last week. This week we are seeding the 64 Heros in their respective divisions. If you are playing along at home you can view the google doc here.

Here it is the episode you have been waiting for! Season 4 Opener starts off with a beer cocktail, the Flaming Dr. Pepper, which Keith experiments using different beers with.

Then we kick off a huges multi show series, where we place 64 Heros in NCAA style brackets to have our selves a little tourney and decide just who is, the ultimate hero

Periodic Table of Beer Styles.

I like this table a lot because it shows the specific gravities and other technical info, which tickles my home brew geek funny bone.

Please someone print this out as a non reflective poster that I can hang on the blue screen behind me for the show. :)
