Should we change beer our rating system?

As we approach the one year anniversary of the podcast and the website here we have an opportunity to change one of the most controversial (at least internally) subjects of the show. The beer rating system.

For the record the current system is:

Rob and I each rate the beer on a 1-5 scale using only whole numbers. Those ratings are averaged together and then rounded up to the next whole number.

The reason for always rounding up is that we are untrained (but not inexperienced) beer tasters, and we want to give the benefit of the doubt to the beer.

So here is your change to suggest a change as we come up on our one year mark.
