Happy time magic hour turns 1 in March, and Rob and I will be recording our Anniversary show the evening of Thursday March 4th.
We have matured quite a bit from those first few shows, both technically and pallet wise. If you are looking for a show this week, why don’t you take a moment and go back into the archives. Just hit the Archives link above to be taken to a month by month view of the blog complete with every show, even some test shows that we did way way back.
It would be awesome if we could hear from a few of you guys on our 48th episode. (wow that seems like a lot of shows in one year.)
Congrats and so on are always welcome but we’d love to hear you guys saying hi, tell us what beers you have discovered because of us, let us know what beers you want us to check out in the next year, what are your favorite moments from the show, etc… and so on. Beer belly saved knifed man’s life
A PUB boss cheated death in a knife attack — when his BEER BELLY protected his vital organs.Doctors told Snaz Martin, 43, he was “almost certainly” saved by his midriff after a boozy customer stabbed him with a three-inch blade.
The tubby landlord, who runs the Britannia Inn in Gillingham, Kent, said: “The doctor said I could have died but my organs were protected by a bit of extra fat.”I’m not massive by any stretch of the imagination - I only weigh 13 stone.
“But I do have a beer belly and they’re saying that’s what saved me.
